These 3-inch foam-backed sanding discs are designed for fine finishing work, featuring a 2000 grit surface ideal for smoothing and polishing. Each disc uses a hook and loop backing for quick attachment to orbital sanders and offers flexibility for both wet and dry sanding applications on various surfaces like wood, metal, and automotive paint.
Pros:
Ultra-fine 2000 grit provides a smooth, polished finish on delicate surfaces.
Foam backing adds cushioning for even pressure distribution and reduced clogging.
Cons:
Only includes 15 discs, which may not be sufficient for large projects.
May wear quickly on rough or heavy-duty surfaces due to the fine grit.
Amazing! Just as good as the 3M Trizac discs for a fraction of the price.
Purchased these as a 3M Trizact 3000 Grit replacement for some light wet polishing work with a certain game console's jewel piece and it seems to hold up to the task as well as the 3M product. Currently at this point in time the P3000 3 inch 3M Trizact pads run €34 for a pack of 15, but the price does tend to fluctuate over time usually selling for a bit more on occasion, so even with its current discounted rate this product has you saving at least €10 per pack. Performed as well as the 3M product with its first application, so only time will tell if the durability equates to that of the branded product so I'll be sure to update this review if it doesn't live up to the hype.
Just painted the tank on my Harley and used these during the "Cut" stage of flattening the paint for buffing... Hit the tight areas well and performed as good as my normal discs
