Useful Application Tips
- Clean areas to be masked off, and use painting prep to remove grease, oils, and contaminants.
- Open the door, trunk, or hood and affix soft edge masking tape to the jamb.
- Test fit occasionally to ensure the foam fills the gap between the jamb and door, trunk, or hood.
- When the door is closed it may be necessary to push in the tape using a plastic or wooden stick.
- After the paint has been completed, simply pull up the masking tape at a 45° angle to the surface to ensure a clean removal, resulting in no adhesive or foam being left on the surface.
